Community Peer Hubs for dementia – Nottinghamshire

We would like to invite you to one of our hubs

Finding your way through a dementia diagnosis — or even waiting for one — can feel overwhelming, isolating, and full of uncertainty. You’re not expected to navigate it alone.

Alzheimer’s Society has created Community Peer Hubs across Nottinghamshire to offer a place where you can feel understood, supported, and gently guided.

What are these hubs meant to give you

  • A safe space to talk openly with people who truly understand what you’re going through - whether you’re living with dementia or caring for someone who is.
  • Reassurance and clarity from local professionals who can explain what help is available now and what you might need later.
  • Human connection - sometimes the most comforting thing is simply meeting others walking a similar path.

Who will be there

You’ll have the chance to speak with a range of supportive services, including social services,

memory groups, dementia advisers, benefit advisers, and social prescribers. Even if you don’t need anything right now, knowing what’s available can bring a sense of calm and preparedness.
